Why psychotherapy? Life may not be going as well as you feel it could be due to the effects of a painful or traumatic event or current situation. Or you have no clear idea of what it is that needs attention and simply wish to understand yourself better. In counselling and in psychotherapy we can work with a whole range of experiences and difficulties within a safe and confidential relationship. Psychotherapy tends to be longer term and thus allows work with the more complex issues and deeply held patterns that can profoundly affect our experience of life and relationship. I offer Core Process Psychotherapy which is a gentle depth psychotherapy grounded in mindfulness practice and both Buddhist and Western psychology. It aims to bring awareness to whatever is happening for you in order to allow movement and change and to uncover your inherent joy and happiness. |
