Why psychotherapy?
Life may not be going as well as you feel it could
be due to the effects of a painful or traumatic event or current situation. It might be that you have no clear idea of what it is that needs attention and simply wish to understand yourself better.

In counselling and in psychotherapy we can work with fear, anxiety, depression, confusion, loss or trauma within a safe and confidential relationship.  Psychotherapy tends to be longer term and thus allows work with the more complex issues and deeply held patterns that can profoundly affect our experience of life and relationship.


Core Process Psychotherapy is a gentle depth psychotherapy grounded in Buddhist wisdom as well as modern psychology.  It aims to bring awareness to whatever is happening in order to allow movement and change. This allows us the freedom to experience ourselves, other people and life events differently.
