What is Core Process Psychotherapy?

Core Process is a gentle depth psychotherapy that can be described as
'Mindfulness in Relationship'. Mindfulness is about bringing awareness to
feelings, sensations and thoughts without judgement.
In Core Process therapy, through her relationship with you, the
therapist aims to bring awareness to whatever is happening for you.
This simple but profound practice allows acceptance, movement and change
and thus your inherent joy and happiness can begin be uncovered and
healing can occur.
Core Process Psychotherapy is taught through the Karuna Institute in
Devon and is accredited by the UKCP. 'Karuna' means compassion and Core
Process is informed and supported by the wisdom and compassion of
Buddhist psychology as well as modern Western psychotherapeutic
approaches.
